Vibrant colour and bold, expressive brushstrokes characterize artworks by Birsbane based oil painter, Ellie Sweetman. Her ability lies in capturing the subject while preserving the lightness and spontaneity of impressionistic brushwork.
Ellie completed a Bachelor of Fine Art at QCA before joining Bowerbird 11 years ago where she continues to refine techniques and has expanded her repertoire into textile design. And now, she runs oil painting workshops in our Gallery & Workshop space.
